
Dr. João Pedro Gouveia

Dr. João Pedro Gouveia is an environmental engineer with a PhD in Climate Change and Sustainable Development Policies focused on Sustainable Energy Systems, from NOVA School of Science and Technology of NOVA University Lisbon, Portugal. He is a senior researcher and invited assistant professor at FCT/NOVA within the CENSE, Energy and Climate research area. He is the principal investigator of multiple national and international projects on buildings energy efficiency, energy poverty, sustainable cities, and climate change adaptation. João Pedro was on the Management Committee of EU COST Action on Energy Poverty (ENGAGER), he is part of the Coordination team of EPAH - EU Energy Poverty Advisory Hub. He is one of the founders (2015) and Board Member of APEEN – Portuguese Association for Energy Economics (since 2021).
