Born in Portugal, André studied Mechanical Engineering with a Masters in Fluid Mechanics and began his professional career as a university research fellow in hydrogen projects at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Now in PRF since 2021, André is a Process Engineer responsible for designing hydrogen infrastructures such as the Hydrogen Refuelling Stations, Hydrogen Production Plants and Hydrogen Gas Grid injection projects and having been deeply involved in the development of the first Portuguese hydrogen refuelling station and the first Portuguese hydrogen production and gas grid injection project. André believes that the actions we take now will determine what the world we live in will look like in 10-, 20- or 50-years’ time. And it’s going to need huge efforts from all of us individuals, governments, businesses, schools and other organizations, working together for a better climate and a better future.
