Project Manager
Kaija Valdmaa is managing the Estfeed data exchange platform in Elering, the electricity and gas transmission system operator (TSO) in Estonia. Estfeed main aim is to connect applications and data sources and provide legal and secure access to private energy consumption data for third parties. It also provides customers the tools to manage their private data and use energy efficiency applications from e-elering.
Before Estfeed, Kaija worked for Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol and PAKRi Science and Industrial Park (2014-2016) were her main aim was to draw together an export oriented green technology cluster, raise funding for business development programmes, represent the Estonian greentech community in Europe and mentor start-ups and growth companies on business development issues. From 2011 to 2014 she worked in Tallinn University of Technology (TUT) as younger research fellow on topics related with greentech sector analysis and science, technology and innovation policy analysis around green and energy technologies, also executed local and EU business and science projects in the same field.
She is also Co-Founder and Member of the Board in Cleantech ForEST a cleantech network organisation that aims to accelerate Estonian green innovation and develop a supporting ecosystem and currently finalizing her PhD studies in TUT.
